2022ರ ಮೆಗಾ ಹರಾಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಂಜಾಬ್ ಕಿಂಗ್ಸ್ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಜಿತೇಶ್​ಗೆ ಅದೇ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಆವೃತ್ತಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ಆವೃತ್ತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಡದ ಪರ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಜಿತೇಶ್​ರನ್ನು ಆರ್​ಸಿಬಿ 11 ಕೋಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಖರೀದಿಸಿದೆ.
